This compressed file contains design information for the Texas Instruments AM572x GP EVM.
The relevant design files for each revision of the AM572x GP EVM have been placed in a
separate directory. The directory name indicates the board revision.
As of this release, there have been three revisions of the AM572x GP EVM. The first was sold
as TI part number “TMDXEVM5728”. This part number was obsoleted in early 2016 and
replaced with TI part number TMDSEVM572X”. The following table provides a directory name
cross reference for each revision.
In 2017, the 3MP image sensor used in Revision A1 of the Camera Module was obsoleted. It
was necessary to redesign the Camera Module and the replacement used an automotive grade
1MP image sensor. During the transition period, it was decided to make the Camera Module an
optional item.
Two design file directories have been associated with EVM Revision B. Design files located in
directory “CM_A1 LM_A2a PM_A3a” represents EVMs shipped with Revision A1 Camera
Modules. If you received the Revision A1 Camera Module as part of an EVM or separate
purchase, the design files can be found in this directory. Design files located in directory
“CM_C1 LM_A2a PM_A3a” represents EVMs shipped without Camera Modules. If you
received the Revision C1 Camera Module, the design files can be found in this directory.
