Concert Production Syllabus Intermediate Distribution and Role Description The course will be fitted to the students attending the class. The goal will be to produce at least one cooperative concert per semester and four productions. We will have the professional productions as ideal and will therefore work project based. The students will be the backbone of the RDFIS production team. The producers will (with the teachers guidance) be responsible for the production’s idea, repertoar, scheduling, division of labour and deliverance. Therefore they represent 60% of the total grade. The students need 100% score in all fundamentals for a -D (60%). Cooperation The class will strive towards a working environment mirroring the reality of a good production team. To be able to work as a group is of utter most importance. This means trying to work as a team in all situations not only when in class, for example helping your classmate remembering to come on time to class or helping anyone that is struggling with an assignment (unless instructed otherwise). Everyone is responsible for each others learning and wellbeing. Teamwork is therefore not graded but expected and the only fundamental for the Concert Production. Consistent unwillingness to cooperate or group sabotage will be seen as ruinous and will not be retestable. Any student at risk of failing in cooperation will get one warning followed by individual counseling.
