Cvrrroom brief and examples

Dear fellow creatives!
I am looking for help us with removal of lightning stripes in studio portraits
and restore the 'natural' lightning and contrast. I also would like you to cut
off any long hair if present. See next page examples.
This project is more about art & illustration then photography. Because of
this I am NOT looking for traditional retouching and face enhancements. NO
skin smoothing, no spot removal, no coloring, no automation of any kind. If
you only do background removal and basic retouching like contrast &
coloring, smoothing etc, I kindly ask you not to respond. Those are great
gigs but I just don't need them.
The edges of the light are diffuse so it's more tricky then removing shadow
from a parallel lightsource like sunlight. You will have to do this all by hand.
I need greyscale output so in Camera Raw you can already start with black
and white. But whatever works best for you. As long as you deliver greyscale
everything is fine with me.
You will not be producing end work. I will use your results to create very
grainy monotone colour screenprint looks. Don’t work hours to make it
perfect. Artifacts & small contrast differences will be all gone when I add
grain. Remind yourself that imperfections are celebrated here.
I provide the high-res RAW images from a Canon EOS-1D X Mark II
(3648x5472px). You have full control in Camera Raw over lightning.
For delivery it is important that you use nondestructive workflow. I will need
a basic layer with removed light beam and restored lightning. Any other
steps like contrast have to be done on top of this with 50% grey layers as
clipping masks & set to ‘overlay’. Please use ‘glitch’ in your reply so check if
you’ve read all this text. Hair removal needs to be done with masks so I can
restore if I have to.
To see if it works I would like you to do 1 image as a test. I have more
detailed instructions and example of the final work so you will have better
understanding what you are working with.
Budget is per image. Upon succes I have a batch of 25-50 images. This is an
ongoing project so I hope to find a great partner I can keep working with.
Looking forward hearing from you! Thanks for reading and have a great day,
Chris
