Symptom

Request Reason
Currently Firefighter is limited to SAP Backend Systems. For eg. FIORI and other applications are moving to
web based front ends. Hence some SAP GRC Access Controls functions within the front end, cannot be
managed by firefighter.

Reason and Prerequisites
For Web based apps maintain the following configuration:
IMG->Governance, Risk and Compliance->Access Control->Maintain Connector Settings->Select the
connector for which FFIDs have FIORI apps and web based application->select ‘Assign attributes to the
connector’ and Maintain new attribute->WEBGUI URL and value as /N/UI2/FLP for fiori launchpad and
WEBGUI URL and value as NWBC for web applications.
Only one at a time can be maintained.
Solution
Improvement
EAM feature for firefighting can not be done for applications using Web GUI .
Benefit
One firefighter Approach Independent from the user Interface layer.
Limitations
Browsers needs to be closed and webgui browser needs to be refreshed during log out
It is not possible to login with same user and same target system with multiple FFID's
Detailed logging in Fiori apps etc. is not available
