There are several reasons why many people suggest getting up-to-date information on newspapers.
Firstly, newspapers which are dependable sources of news are published by a large corporation.
Secondly, information is censored before being printed, which removes misleading information. Finally,
the government manages publishers to avoid misleading news by passing laws to regulate newspapers.

On the other hand, some people argue that other forms of learning news such as Internet or radio can
enable people to absorb information more effectively compared with newspaper. Firstly, learning news
by radio is more convenient for people who can not spend much time on reading. For example, drivers
can absorb information though radio because radio can report news with audio, which allows drivers to
concentrate on their driving. Secondly, some media such as TV can make news become more interesting
by introducing vivid illustrations vias image and sound. As a result, TV can captivate viewer’s attention in
learning news better than newspapers.
Some say that news has no connection with most people’s life and it is a waste of time for most of us
to read the newspaper and watch television news programs. Do you agree or disagree?
