The old man and the sea
The old man in the sea is a story of a battle between an old fisherman called Santiago and a large
marlin .the story opens up with the explanation of Sa tiago’s life . the fisherman had a hard unlucky
time in his fishing career; he has gone 84 days without catching a single fish , which was a reason
why the other fishers start laughing at him because of his bad luck ,but instead of that Santiago was
still optimist and hopeful that he’ll get something ;he went on the 85th fishing again and he was sure
he can catch a fish , and indeed he catches a fish , but then the old a disco ers that there’s a
marlin a big strong fish even bigger that the skiff itself , since it was strong , it was pulling Santiago
with his skiff away to the deep waters , so now a bloody struggle starts going with Santiago and the
marling , and at last Santiago is finally going to defeat the marling by killing it with his harpoon , after
that another problem Santiago has faced is the sharks , they got attracted by the marlins blood so
they went attacking the marlin in order to eat it , so Santiago gave everything to defend he marlin
from the sharks so he killed some of them but that ended up with the sharks defeating the old guy
and eating the marling, and finally , after a three day journey, the old man went back home proudly
with hat’s left from the marlin which was enough to prove himself to the other fishers that he still
can catch fish again, which shows that the old was a guy who never lose hope .
