There are a number of reasons that people attend college or universities. First of all, I would
like to state that some people attend in order to prepare for a career. They learn about a
particular subject in depth. They gain specific knowledge that is very important in the current
job market. Furthermore, some attend for personal fulfillment. They may feel a sense of
accomplishment by learning new things. They just prefer to enhance their knowledge and appreciate
the importance of learning.
