Referral
It is usual to ask your General Practitioner to refer you
to a Consultant. He or she will write a letter of referral
so that your surgeon and anaesthetist are made aware
of any medical condition which might influence your
treatment.
Treatments and Procedures Available
BREAST AUGMENTATION
This offers women with naturally small breasts or whose
breasts have decreased in size through weight loss,
post pregnancy or increasing age, the opportunity of
a fuller figure. A prosthesis is positioned behind the
breast through a small surgical incision.
BREAST REDUCTION
Overly large or pendulous breasts can have a reduction
of breast volume and improvement of normal contour.
BREAST UPLIFT
This is designed to tighten and uplift the breast.
RHINOPLASTY
Corrective surgery to the nose is one of the most
requested cosmetic procedures and can range from
subtle refinement or tip correction to full reshaping.
LIPOSUCTION
Liposculpture is a surgical procedure which reshapes
the body by the removal of fat from the problem areas.
Benefits are permanent as once fat cells are removed
they cannot return. Chin, tummy, buttocks, thighs,
calves, ankles and the male breast can be treated and
respond well when diet and exercise have
proved ineffective.
ABDOMINOPLASTY (TUMMY TUCK)
This procedure removes fatty tissue and skin folds from
the mid and lower abdominal regions. Stretch marks
in this area can be removed; internal muscles are
tightened. Tummy is smoother and flatter, midriff bulge
is eliminated and waistline trimmer.
BLEPHAROPLASTY
Eyelid surgery can correct a variety of problems including
sagging skin around the eyes, droopy eyelids and under
eye bags. Eyes look brighter, less tired and more youthful.
FACE LIFT
As the face ages, the firm, fatty tissue beneath the
skin loses volume and the underlying muscle weakens
and slackens. A face lift aims to give a smoother,
firmer appearance by the raising and tightening of
facial skin and muscle.
EAR SHAPE CORRECTION
The position of protruding ears can be improved.
Misshapen contours, cartilage damage and split lobes
can also be corrected.
SCAR REVISION
Where the skin has been damaged through acne, injury
or previous suture lines and requires improvement, a
consultation will determine the type of treatment
required to deal with the improvement of scar tissue.
This will be dependent on the area and depth of
the damaged skin.
