DATA ANALYSIS Article 1: An Innovative Approach for Online Food Order Management System Based on the article of (Anjali Baranwal, 2018), the researcher propose system that restaurant need to be used in order to facilitate the owner and customers because the current process is they used a manual operation in ordering food and providing food. By using manual operation have a possibility chance of minor errors and it takes time in handling it. So the researcher aims to implement an online order to help customers wirelessly using a system called as E-menu where the order will be send straight to the cook-room. So, the server will gather all the data based on category being design in the system. The categories of users include the customers to order food and pay in return. For chef, they will receive the order by the customers as they will give update on the status of the orders on the time needed for the order being done and will be delivered to customers. Other than that, another category include admin where they responsible to adds, cancel and alters all the order placed by the customer also manage their staff. The other objective of this system is to reduce the paper work where the system will automate the whole process including transaction and customer management. This system also help organization to retrieve all the records with less overhead to manage user friendly and flexible records in files and papers. Next, this system also helps in reducing the long queues purchase time, more secured order placement process and able to save all the data such as the user accounts and feedback by customers will be recorded automatically in the system in order it gave a positive of negative results. In this system, they used 6 different modules as follows: 1) Module 1 (User Tablet) This category implement by customers where they can place order, give necessary feedbacks and also pay money of the ordered. 2) Module 2 (Manager’s Tablet) This module used by manager of the restaurant where they be able to control the whole activity of the restaurant from a single screen. The manager also able to make change and modified the menu or any problems using the tablet or laptop. 3) Module 3 (SMS Integration) In this module where the customer will register by enter their phone number and other details which will be stored in the restaurant database. This benefits to customers where they could get offers, coupons or any information that will be sent through SMS and it could attract them to get service from the organization. 1 4) Module 4 (Menu Recommendation) It refers in selecting food or menu by customers based on their previous food order that will be recommend and customer can select for the order. 5) Module 5 (Customer Feedback) It provides the customers to give their feedback regarding the food and the service of the restaurant which it can be improved for future. 6) Module 6 (Report Generation) This system will generate a complete report by weeks, months and yearly basis. The architecture consists of the three main parts of restaurants which is Server, Kitchen, and Cashier counter. Catering orders from customers online to the Kitchen staff to prepare that particular order in minimum time. Keeping track of the orders placed and fetched information into the server application. Order updates, cancellations, add ons are detailed at a central database. The above tiers of the system are connected via wireless technology. Food Android application finds out the location based on latitudes and longitudes. The finding of this article find that the system is convenient, effective and easy in improving the performance of the restaurant’s staff. Other than that, it also provides a good quality of service and customer satisfaction where it could attract customers also adds to efficiency of maintaining the restaurant’s ordering and billing section. Article 2: Table Booking and Restaurant Management System Using Android Application (OPSS) The purpose of this article (B. Naveen Kumar, 2020) is to give an effective way in restaurant management system where it can easily implement in manage customers where they gave benefits for customer to place the order either by dine-in or from home or anywhere based on the area that can be covered by the restaurant. This application responsible for maintaining the waiters, menu items, pricing, payments and orders. Besides, this application also able to bring all classes of restaurants to a single platform for all the small end restaurant and high end restaurants which this application is very useful in last minute planning. This application allows the users to make reservation of a table at a specific restaurant along with the flexibility of dates and times as well as ordering the food instantly based on the reservation details by the customers. Other than that, this application also helps manager to change or modified the menu along with the prices and have the overview of the table according to the order and preference by customers. In this system, able for customers to reserve a table at a specific date and time of booking itself. The application also provides customers to choose the three different options which are Table Reservation, Order Food and Take Away option for customers. For manager or admin users, they have options of table 2 locking and unlocking table reservation for that particular restaurant. It also introduced menu editing dynamically, pricing change, data analytics and total payments. In this application, customers manage to enters the particular details to sign up and get associated with app needed to be used in Android App. Besides, customers also be able to look into the restaurants that available and reserve a table or order the food. In this situation, it could let the customers to reserve a table and all reservation details that have been sent to the email ID or by phone number of the user which it can be shown in appendix. The findings of the proposed system are could reduce the manual process for both customers and management of the restaurant which make the work be more professional and efficient. 3 NEW SYSTEM RECOMMENDATION A. Project Summary Restaurant is one of the most premises that usually being visited by customers to get a food services. It is common that some of the restaurant usually packed with customers especially on lunch hour in weekdays. In order to make it more efficient and be more productive, a food ordering system needed to make it easier for customers to place their order without need to wait for the waiters take their orders which is by scan the QR Code that will be provided by the restaurant at each tables. There are several restaurant has implemented food ordering application in their premises but for my new system, I made an improvement which I make it more user-friendly where customers could order it in easier way as they need to place order without waiters. The new system is developed by include few modules that had difference function such as menu section, order section, and so on for certain users and purpose. This system has three main servers which is customers, manager and staff where each main server had its role and function in order to help them which is will be developed by using Android platform whereby it is an open software and can be built in data connection modules. B. Purpose The purpose of the new system is to improve the service of the restaurant. By implemented this new system could improve the quality of the restaurant and attract customers to get our service. C. Scope The scope of the new system is in order to make it be more user-friendly by using a QR Code which they could sign in to the specific restaurant without search it in the search engine. In this new system also it design based on few modules which is user, manager, menu, feedback and report. D.
