Based on the book ‘To kill f Mockingbird’ by Harper Lee The tragedy of racism Today I would like to write you about some strong item. It will be about the tragedy on racism. So many people feel in love with Harper Lee’s book ‘To kill the Mockingbird’ as a teenager. But It’s not as morally simple or straightforward as it seems. I were reading that book and my thoughts went too far from reality and I begin to estimate. Racism exist in every society. This fact may be an inconvenient truth for some, but for millions it is an ever-present, inescapable aspect of their reality. More and more news, photos, videos with such item last few years revel in the internet and social media. Like years ago in book so today, people behave injustice, abusive, harshly. They do not mind how it will reflect on themselves and their children. Such kind of behavior make our society rude, ignorant and divided. We have a lot of rules, laws, articles about defended our rights, that we all free people, we have own rights and own estate, clear name, reputation. So why we break all this towards the other race people? Harper Lee tried to unroll people’s view to this problem. He shows the dirty of others minds. Atticus tried to teach their children to respect all people doesn’t matter how they look, what race or gender, age they are. We all different people it has no sense. I recognize that higher education alone cannot undo or address all of the issues of racism and hatred that stem from our country’s racial legacy. But we can do our part. With racism ideas we destroy our society, divide it in two pieces. This book is a perfect example how our morbid attitude burn bad consequences. How year-by-year society reads it demonstrates that we have a very long way to go before we can declare ourselves truly “colour blind”. We should tackle these issues for the sake of our economy, but we must tackle them for the sake of our national values. Ending racism is about civil rights. It is about social justice. If we invoke the rule esteem others and pondered our action and wards we will have a placid days. Zakharova Arina
