man named Robert Hooke.
Robert lived in Britain and was a scientist.
He was the first person to observe cells.
Classification of Cells
❖ According to number:
1.UNICELLULAR- made up of one cell
2.MULTICELLULAR- two or more cells
➔ According to structure:
1. PROKARYOTIC-without true nucleus, nucleiod region instead
Ex. bacteria
1. EUKARYOTIC- with “true” nucleus, separated by nuclear membrane
Ex. animals, plants, fungi, protists
