SC: I can talk personally about things I have done to find similarities with other people in my class Students will write a diary entry discussing how they have spent their holidays using the template provided. Next students will exchange their written piece with another person at their table. They will select a coloured pencil, texta or crayon to highlight similar experiences, events or celebrations they have undertaken. Continue to pass the work around the table until the person who wrote the entry receives their own work back. Ask for volunteers to share their findings. Focus question: Who had the most similar holiday/ experiences as you? Were you surprised by the findings? Who did you think you would most alike? Why did you think this?
