brothers, James and Patrick. Both were married, and both died comparatively young. James had a large family, most of whom were
born in America. In the order of their age, the family were: Ellen (Mrs. Denis Mahoney), Patrick, Catherine (Mrs. James Brown), John,
Mary (James Mahoney's second wife), William, Margaret (Mrs. John Reilly the second), and James. Mrs. Barry had the distinction of
living the longest of any of the Irish settlers, and seeing more of her descendants."
