Walk Two Moons
One-Pager Directions
A one pager is a way to visually share key ideas and information from what
you have learned. When you create a one pager, you are trying to use both
visual symbols and important words to clearly and concisely share your
most important takeaways with someone else. The final project should be
visually appealing and colorful.
For this one pager, I’ve provided you with a template. You may do this on plain paper
(take a clear photo of completed project) or the computer. Your completed project should
be turned in on Canvas.
Here’s what the border and 8 boxes MUST INCLUDE:
●
A border of words and images to represent the figurative language in the book.
●
Title and Author of the book
●
The main character (Sal) and description of her character traits, citing at least one
example from the book to support your description.
●
Other characters and descriptions.
●
Setting--Where does the story take place and why is this important?
●
Conflict--Internal and external
●
How does Sal change throughout the book?
●
Theme--What was the theme of the book?
●
An image that represents a key moment in the text.
You may also add other symbols, drawings, and words that represent the reading
as you wish.
Please look at the rubric. An “A” project has to be detailed and show a deep
understanding of the text.
