Message for Multicultural Council of Wellington (MCW) Year-End Gathering

On behalf of the Philippine Embassy to New Zealand, I would like to convey our
warmest holiday greetings to the Multicultural Council of Wellington Whanau.
The MCW Officers, led by our ever-dynamic Madame President Rachel Qi,
Members and Mentors are to be commended for a fantastic job well done over
the course of 2020, particularly given the challenges of the COVID-19
Pandemic. We’d also like to thank our Filipina-Kiwi leaders in the MCW, Lonie
Martin, Angie Brigera and Cora Loreano, for ably representing the Filipino
Community in the MCW. Let us greet 2021 with hope and optimism. For our
part, the Embassy looks forward to continuing to be a bridge to the Wellington
Diplomatic Corps, and would like to continue working closely with the MCW in
advancing the unique and world-renown brand of Kiwi Multiculturalism along
with promoting the global role of Wonderful Wellington, the world’s coolest
little Capital City. Maraming Salamat Po! Maligayang Pasko at Manigong
