Roles and responsibilities of the nominated person
The nominee should possess good understanding of BIM and related technologies to
represent your organisation.
1. Convey the views of your organisation on the needs and demands on BIM
standards, training, R&D areas, etc.;
2. Disseminate the BIM strategies and the latest BIM developments as well as BIM
events organised by CIC to members of your organisation;
3. Motivate members of your organisation to learn, adopt and promote BIM;
4. Encourage members of your organisation to organise, support or participate in
BIM events;
5. Exchange with CIC the latest BIM developments and technologies, including BIM
objects and specifications; and
6. Coordinate the nominations from your organisation to attend BIM activities and
events by the CIC.
