Favorite Quote: “You arehere to learn thesubtle science
and exact art ofpotion-making. As there is little foolish wandwaving here, many of youwill hardlybelieve thisis magic. I don't
expect youwill reallyunderstand the beauty of the softly

— Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Someone fun and kind who prefers dungeons to the
outdoors.
Keep students in line, watch quidditch, make
potions, avoid shampoo
Potions master at Hogwarts School of
Witchcraft and Wizardry
Lilys, Legilimency, being sarcastic, taking
points from Gryffindor, casual dark arts usage
Quidditch, potion making (obviously)
Personal Statement: I am a hard-working, passionate individual who is just looking for love. After spending so many months in
the dungeon making potions and dealing with Gryffindors, I am looking for someone willing to settle down… preferably a fellow
Slytherin. I am a man of principles and hope to find a good witch willing to stand up for what is right when the time comes.
After you create your dating profile, I would like you to type or write a 1-3 paragraph “love letter” introducing your person to the love
of their life (assuming they were married… if not, get creative). You may delete this section and type it here or you can type it in
another document (or hand-write it even, if you prefer). Your love letter should introduce your person, describe what they like
about the other person, and then make a case for why the other person should give them a chance.
Example:
Dearest Lily,
First, I must be honest. I am a Slytherin… but please, understand that I can love a Gryffindor.
I can even love a muggle born. Years back, as a child, I was taunted and teased for being who I
am. You may have even heard that I don’t like muggle-borns, as my response to James Potter’s
taunting became schoolwide news. Alas, I have no regrets—even as a pure blood myself, I believe
that no witch or wizard should be banned from our school. Still, I have put that life behind me. I
am now the potion master at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the head of
Slytherin.
You though, Lily, are everything that I have ever wanted in a significant other. I think our
friendship could grow into something more. I hope my demeanor as a boy didn’t scare you
away, because the only thing that scares me if a life without you.
All my love,
Severus
