They will be able to create a recommendation list in the application for the other users to read and use as references. COMPLETED PRE-PROJECT WORK Walk Out Co. has already developed the application design in the simplest way possible with only three main menus on the homepage. The dealing of international collaboration and support with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industry of South-East Asian countries, Japan and South Korea. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT Using solar panels to supply 60% of the energy used in the office by designing the building equipped with solar panels, Walk Out Co. reduces the environmental impacts of energy consumption and the drain of natural resources. APPROACH AND INNOVATION RESPONSE Walk Out Co. has researched, analyzed, and understood the working system of global online travel agencies (OTAs) associated with the demand for planned and impulsive trips growing every year worldwide. This research facilitates the construction of new, innovative, and comprehensive online travel service where the application “Time to Travel” provides complete online travel necessity and a travel organizer and recommendatory, designed by the travelers. IMPROVEMENT Time to Travel is an online travel application that helps travelers plan their trips and give recommendations to the users. Equipped with three main menus on the homepage; separate bookings, plan my journey, and adventure time. Separate bookings option allow you to book plane tickets, hotel room, and any entertainment or activities pass separately. Plan my trip option will help the users plan their dream vacation most efficiently. Booking airplane tickets and hotels, choosing tourism destinations they want to visit, and buying the tickets for any entertainment or activities in your goal during your visiting date in advance with easy step-by-step instructions. They will also be able to organize the date and time of their visit, and the application will show the itinerary of their trip and the cost. Meanwhile, the adventure time option will show the users the real-time shows and activities happening at the time, near you, or at any place you want. With a last-minute booking option, the users will be able to enjoy entertainment and activities without booking in advance. Moreover, the building of the international relations department in the company that will be responsible for expanding the relationship with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industry around the world and providing updates of existing or new events and tourism destinations. STUDY FOCUS Specifically, by promoting the most comfortable planned trip with tour travel agencies like planning, designed by the travelers, we will be able to benchmark our success against the global online travel applications currently available such as Traveloka and TripAdvisor. COMPETITIVENESS We aim for 30-50% benchmark improvements over current global online travel applications but believe that there is significantly more potential without Time to Travel application. That is one of the biggest problems online travel applications these days have; they can’t efficiently organize their services, so it would be easier for them to find it. Time to Travel presented only three main menus on our home page that can be directly used for separate booking or planning your trip in the easiest and fastest way. With this method, we believe all of our services will be fully recognized and utilized by consumers. Walk Out Co. will functionally simplify the process of online booking and travel planning and, at the same time expanding our relationship with other countries all around the globe and their representative online travel agency(s). We plan to outperform their current and future service significantly by merging our products and services seamlessly to them; online travel booking and planning service, as well as online mobility service, will be our highest income. Positions in this space are high-paying, high-skilled jobs that the Indonesia government has and continues to support. On the other hand, the increasing number of travelings all around the world also has environmental effects on nature. To reduce the negative impact of tourism activities, Walk Out Co. designing their building to be equipped with solar panels; therefore, 60% of the energy used in the building is powered by solar energy. Moreover, the company disposal of its' waste in an environmentally friendly way through recycling, reusing and composting. She has five years of experience in data science and software engineering. Besides writing code by herself, she also takes a technical lead in the project to work as a mediator between developers and business owners. Tasya enjoys bringing value to clients via eCommerce solutions, legacy integrations, and optimized PHP and JavaScript-driven applications. She has a client-oriented approach, provides clean code, uses cutting-edge technologies, and helps your business to evolve. Senior Software Engineer Developer/full-time Rama Pucangan is a software engineer with a master's degree from MIT, focusing on computer graphics and vision. He's worked on many freelance projects like Mole Detective (Mole Detect), WearReader, Minecraft.Print(), 3DEchosght.com, and dataTHRESH. Rama has a range of experience working with various types of tech: Android, Windows, iPhone, and computer vision. Systems Tester/part-time Michelle Bongsawan For the past five years, Michelle has worked as a QA engineer collaborating with various QA teams and on sophisticated functional testing on multiple types of applications. She's passionate about bug hunts and is known as a hard-working team player who loves to learn. Business Development Manager/part-time Andrew Ray is a proven professional with a track record of successfully transforming the financial performance of businesses. Andrew has been a business development manager at Gojek Indonesia. As a member of the Indonesia Board, he identifies partnership opportunities and provides this feedback to other stakeholders. Develop product requirements, business processes, and strategic direction and planning to enable product adoption beyond the platform. Walk Out Co. will need to recruit two full-time specialist positions, an API Development Specialist, and a Front-End Developer. Our unique location and relationship will simplify the recruitment process. RESOURCES AND FACILITIES Walk Out Co. will be based in the Sudirman Central Business District 8, Jakarta, Indonesia. PARTNERS Walk Out Co. has ongoing partnerships with ASEAN countries, Japan and South Korea that already provide the foundation database of their countries' tourism destination and support information as well as the most trusted airlines, accommodations, and mobility services all around the globe. PROJECT MANAGEMENT WORK PACKAGES Time to travel has been outlined using Project Libre, which is a free platform compatible with Microsoft Project. At implementation, the project will utilize Microsoft Project due to the additional cloud access, advanced scheduling, and project communication facilities ($55/month). Our developers will build the app by generating code using AWS Cloud9 and using Javascript as our programming language ($50/month). Additionally, we will use Traveloka's Play Framework platform for benchmarking our results against Amazon's AWS Cloud9. APPROACH Regular reflection points within the project will afford sufficient time for all project staff to attend industry seminars and workshops directly related to the project implementation; our proportionate workstreams allow us to discuss the deficiencies and advantages, so we can best enable the best result of each stage. One of the weaknesses of every online travel application these days is that they don't maximize the functions of all their features. Walk Out Co. takes the opposite approach; we want to learn and develop best practices by optimizing the services of every element we have in the application; we will participate in seminars with senior application developers, business developers, and anybody else who may afford exciting insights. In addition to maintaining a stable workflow of every stage, we split them into three different stages : 1) Project planning of the application type and research of the competitors, followed by reflection and iterative development. 2) Framing of the application functionality and features, layout, wireframes, and followed by reflection and iterative development. 3) The project completion as well as trial and error, followed by reflection and iterative development. REPORTING PROCESS All project members report to the Senior Project Manager, who oversees the entire project. At the same time, the Senior Software Engineer Developer locally manages the application building, and the Systems Tester leads the testing and benchmarking. The final stage, launching, promoting, and the Business Development Manager locally manages the marketing of the application. The shared working environment will foster a close relationship within the entire team, the Development Engineer working across both workstreams and regular reflection points. These include the whole team and the Business Development Manager, who will be bringing knowledge of the evolving market conditions back into the project. Maintaining a close relationship from one department to the others will make the monitoring process of the project's progress flow smoothly and organized from one stage to another. There are some environmental impacts of our project because we use much energy to power our activities. From that we decided to power our activities with an alternative energy source that is solar energy, our building will be equipped with solar panels so that the energy produced can be used to power 60% of our day-to-day activities. Hypothetical project and managerial risks have been carefully considered and negated within the project framework; these are covered in the appendix risk register, and project workflow diagram preventative mitigation and contingency plans are also detailed. CRITICAL INPUTS The most vital project element is the application design and the features available in the application and how to maximize its' function. Each of the three stages builds upon the other, so whole team reflection points focus on our resources. To prevent any unwelcomed interventions from happening, we conduct regular business-to-business meetings so that we can mitigate any potential unwelcome intrusions. Technical expertise in developing online travel applications is brought by the Senior Project Manager and Senior Software Engineer Developer; both have experience for at least five years of developing new applications with a different setup and completing it successfully. The commercial space is fluid within this rapidly moving sector, so Walk Out Co. has brought in a hugely experienced Business Development Manager to make sure our progress is in-line with the needs of our future customer base simplicity and efficiency; if the market moves, we will proceed with it, developing along with changes in consumers' taste and preferences. Walk Out Co.'s two core leaders for this feasibility study; the Business Development Manager and the Senior Project Manager, both have experience within technology companies; taking companies from feasibility studies to productization and profitability. An online travel application that provides travel services, or something applying the same underlying knowledge, will be the next paradigm in the global travel market, generating hundreds of millions of pounds for the benefiting economies.
