Instructions
1. Print a scavenger hunt sheet for each student.
2. Have students work alone or in pairs to find ratios for the objects
or items listed in numbers 1-10.
3. When time has expired, have the class compare ratios and decide
on the final answers.

Write a ratio for each comparison below in fractional form, with a colon, and in words.
1. Number of student desks to number of students in class today

Number of students to number of trash cans.
3. Number of computers to the number of chairs (don’t include desks)
4. Number of students wearing glasses to the number of students wearing watches
5. Number of students wearing boots to total number of students
6. Number of pages in your workbook to the number of pages in your text book
7. Number of people in your family (in your house) to the number of students in the room
8. Number of posters on the wall to the number of windows in the room
9. Number of filing cabinets to the number of whiteboards
10. Number of students wearing blue to the number of students wearing red
