What are 2 ways we can write a thesis statement inside a narrative essay? - Review lesson objectives with the students. Recap the structure of a narrative essay to introduce also how to form a thesis statement and include relevant transitional words to help the flow of the essay Show how to fill out the graphic organizer. Students are given the choice of 2 prompts: 1. A strange, yet fun travelling experience during quarantine. 2. A time when they found out someone they knew was diagnosed with Covid and how they reacted. 15 mins Students start to individually write their first drafts using a graphic organizer first that asks the question: who?where?what?when? and how?
