ABOUT IPFM
The Institute of Professional Financial Managers (IPFM) was
established in 1992 to provide a body for professional
financial managers. The IPFM set out to fill the niche market
between the accountancy and treasury management
professions.
Today, IPFM has over 10,000 members from over 40
countries. In addition, IPFM has established links with
reciprocal bodies in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Ghana,
India, Nigeria, South Africa, UK, US and Zimbabwe.
IPFM is incorporated under the Companies Act and is
registered as a Professional Institute – UK, under number
5763364.

The Certified Professional Financial Manager (CPFM)
Program has been designed to recognize the unique
qualifications and expertise of those professionals engaged in
financial management. The CPFM designation is intended to
provide distinction in today's economic climate and affords the
opportunity to certify proficiency in the business areas that are
critical to the decision-making process and the field of financial
management.

CPFM CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to apply for the Certified Professional Financial Manager
(CPFM) candidates must fulfil both educational and experience
requirements:
1) Hold a degree/diploma in a management-related area, from a
recognised college or university. All transcripts must be submitted
in English and show the official seal of the college or university.
2) Have two years’ relevant work experience in a commercial,
management or financial environment
3) Completed the certification program.
4) Pass the Assessment for the Certification Program
