WHAT IS AN APPRAISAL
• Basically sharing profits of organization
• Recognizing the employees annual performance
• Showcasing the gratitude towards employees by the Oraganization.
This appraisals will be given on the basis of organization/company policies and given either
once or twice in the annual year or also on ad-hoc basis.
HOW DOES APPRAISAL WORK
Appraisals are not equally distributed in same ratio to all the employees of organization,
there are many parameters involved to finalize it, few of them are:
-- Company's profits/growth income value of the FY
-- The department/group of the employees
-- The role/designation of the employee
-- Finally the performance of the employee
CONCLUSION - NO NEED OF APPRAISALS
Apart from the company's profits or growth and rest of the parameters may not be same for all employees.
In most of the organizations the process of evaluating the appraisals are either routine or not good, it will be disliked by most the
employees and get stressed out thinking about it.
The problems with process of appraisals are:
1.
Time consuming
2.
Differences between the employees of the same level increases.
3.
Create negative experiences between employee and manager.
4.
Impact on productivity of employees
5.
Also there is chances of increasing in attrition.
Hence we can avoid the appraisals.
