Would it be possible for AI to replace Engineers!?

Meaning of the word “Engine”

The word "Engine" is derived from the Latin word “Ingenium”,
meaning Natural Talent or Genius.

Which is in contrast to the wisdom gained from Practice or
Experience, which is the fundamental principle of AI!

Artificial Intelligence Application in Engineering

One of the first books about Application of AI in
Engineering was published in 1992…

Artificial intelligence (AI) is concerned with
designing intelligent computer systems that
exhibit characteristics we associate with
intelligence in human behavior.

A key goal is to move beyond the principles of AI
into its applications in chemical engineering.

Would U.S. Army rely on AI-controlled drone missions?

No! because it is not accurate enough?

Well, U.S. Army has been relying on intercontinental missiles since 1970s!


No! because it is too risky?

Well; Vancouver SkyTrain has been in service since 1985!
Losing Control & Comfort Levels
Losing Control to AI is not Cool!

Based on past observations
and recorded experiences
Losing Control to EI is OK!

Based on science, logics,
analysis and calculations
