Introduction:




Objective: The objective of this experiment is to verify that an object sitting beneath a
surface of water have two depths: apparent depth and real depth.
Problems statement: Do objects beneath a surface of water have two depths?
Hypothesis:

Materials:
 Bowl
 A coin
 Water
Procedures:





Glue a penny in the bottom of a bowl.
Look at the penny, then step backward until the penny is just out of your view
Stay in that spot.
Ask your lab partner to pour water into the bowl.
Keep looking at the bowl and penny will appear.
