1. How do you judge if an object is moving quickly or slowly on a distance-time graph?

2. Look at the distance-time graph for a woman walking below.
a) Between 0s and 10s is the woman accelerating?

You can check if you are correct by calculating the gradient of a line. This tells us the speed.
d) Work out the speed between 0 and 5s by creating a triangle under the line to calculate the gradient.

If your answers are the same, the object was moving at a constant speed between 0 and 10s. If the answers were
