The ABCDE’s of a Chuc’s Day
A: task you must complete, very important!
B: task you should complete - mild consequences in case
of not doing this item
C: task you would like to do but no consequences are
attached
D: task can be delegated - do so!
E: task can be eliminated - do so!
The most frequent reasons for not getting things done are:
•confusion around your goals and why and how to
accomplish them (solution: write down your goals and
divide them into actionable steps)
•lack of confidence and/or skills in key area of your tasks
(solution: identify and learn key skills)
•"eating the frog" while fatigued (solution: take care of
yourself by the means of well-balanced diet, exercise and
regular breaks)
•"frogs" seem large and unapproachable
(solution: resolve to do the first small step or work for
some limited time)
