Cell Organelle Book
Purpose: Create a study tool that describes the structure and function of
each organelle.
Materials Needed:
Paper
Colored Pencils
Scissors
Directions:
1. Create a Cell Organelle Book using blank paper. The book should
be no smaller than ¼ the size of copy paper and no larger than ½ the
size of copy paper
2. Create a title page.
3. On the left page of the book draw and label the organelle and on
the right page write a description (in complete sentences). Make sure
to include the following organelles.
a. Cell membrane
b. Cytoskeleton
c. Nucleus
d. Chromatin
e. Ribosome
f. Rough ER
g. Smooth ER
h. Golgi Apparatus
i. Lysosome
j. Vacuole
k. Mitochondria
l. Chloroplast
