OBJECTIVES
It is important for a training to have clear objectives, so the participants know what to
expect and what is planning on being covered during the training. Having clear objectives also
helps for the evaluation process afterwards because you then have goals that you can assess and
see if they were met or not. It is important for me that my training has clear objectives because I
feel the area of Trans inclusivity is not something that is often addressed, personally outside of
the field of social work the only time I see it brought up is in a negative light in the media.
Which is why it is important for me to educate others to the best of my ability on why Trans
inclusivity is important, and how it can be incorporated into our services.
Upon completion participants will be able to:

Establish ways of Trans inclusivity relevant to individual services

Effectively use vocabulary related to Trans Clients

Provide resources that are appropriate for Trans individuals
