Big Fat Liar film Review

Two friends are about to cut one Hollywood
big shot down to size.
Big Fat Liar is an interesting film for the family. All ages will enjoy the
Hollywood setting and all the different scenes of different movies. I believe that if
you haven’t seen the movie, you are missing a well made funny movie.
The action of the movie takes place in the Hollywood studios of Los Angeles.
They go all around the countryside of Los Angeles.
Jason Shepherd is a 14-year old high-school student who avoids homework
assignments by telling elaborate lies about why he couldn't do them. When he
requires an accomplice, Kaylee, is willing and able to help. One day, however, Jason
is caught in a particularly complicated lie, and, in order to avoid summer school, he
has to write a 1000-word story in four hours. On his way to turn it in, he is hit by a
limousine, transporting movie producer Marty Wolf, who reluctantly agrees to give
Jason a lift to his school. On his way out of the car, Jason leaves behind his story.
Marty reads it and decides to use it for his next big movie. Months later, when the
news of the upcoming film hits the entertainment circuit, Jason is horrified, and
decides to take a trip to Hollywood to force Marty to admit that he stole the idea. All
of Marty’s staff hate him, and with Jason Shepherd as the leader, they give him what
he really deserves.
The biggest change of character among the main characters was in Jason
Shepherd. He lied when ever possible to get out of trouble, but by the end of the film
he learned that telling the truth made things better. During the film, Jason specifically
says that the truth is not overrated but in fact lying is overrated. He backs up his
words by not lying. Kaylee doesn’t really change at all, but Wolf gets worse and
worse in his character.
Frankie Muniz, who played Jason Shepherd, did quite a good performance on this
film. I like the films and TV Shows that he has been in so far in his career. He
couldn’t act tohis full potential in this movie because of the type of part he had.. I
have never heard of Amanda Bynes, who played Kaylee, but she acted realistically.
Paul Giamatti, who played Marty Wolf, is quite an accomplished actor that played a
silly character, which he usually wouldn’t do. He did a very good job.
I’ve only seen this movie once, but I would recommend it to someone that wanted
to watch a relaxing, funny movie.
