Case: Lester Cooper VS Julie Smith

The case we are facing today oppose Lester Cooper against Julie Smith. During
an extended time period, Lester Cooper was hospitalized because he suffered of
serious injuries. During this period of hospitalization, Julie Smith, a friend that he met
the year before and Janet Smith the Julie’s mother visited him a lot of time. Through
these visits, a romantic relationship born between Cooper and Julie in a way that he
even proposed marriage to Julie and he accepted. When Cooper was out of Hospital,
he receive 180 000 dollars for his injuries and moved into Janet’s house. Several
month later, after a diamond engagement ring and several gift, Cooper was broke
and the couple had many disagreement and decide to break up. The fact is that
Cooper decide to sue Janet and Julie for returning al the gift he offer to them.
In this case, the only crime that Julie is accuse of is to love someone. She made
the mistakes to love someone that she took care of him before this love story.
Because before talking about this love story, we need to take in account the fact that
when he was hospitalized and suffering from several injuries, she took her time and
she comes at hospital every time for carrying about him. She did without any purpose
because she doesn’t even know that he will get money for that, she did it because
she felts the need to help a friend in difficulty and she fall in love with him because
she had many time with him so she learned to know him. After the hospitalization,
Cooper decided by him own to move in the Janet’s house and made a lot of gift to
them. Julie never force him to do something or to buy something but the fact is that
they were in love so this is natural that each other have the need the make other
happy even if it is through the gift and other. Six month later, where they both notice
that they had too disagreement, they decide to broke up and in this same period
Cooper was broke because he expenses all the money he gets. The fact is that Cooper
is suing Julie and Janet because he wants them to recover all his gift but Julie never
had as purpose his money because she even give him back the diamond engagement
ring that he brought for her and she starts loving him before that he gets the 180000
dollars so we can’t ask them to give something back to him because the only thing
that the made is to help him during the bad moment in his life and help him to
recover after bad injuries and then love him.
