Story: Apple Annie
The AM class went to
music today and the PM
class had Motor Group.
The AM class had a
planned severe weather
drill today.
We had a toad in our
classroom to observe today.
We even took him out to the
playground and caught some
crickets for him.
Important Dates
Today the students were
introduced to writing the
letter A. Each child dotted
a letter A at arrival time
and worked in a small group
with Miss Julie to practice
finding A’s in a group and
wriitng the letter A on a

At this age children’s
readiness for letter writing
varies greatly and each
child will practice
differently. (A few
