Sub Instructions 1/17/19 First and foremost thank you for taking my classes today! All the materials are on canvas today, they will be using their computers, potentially phones, and headphones for today’s lesson. This is a copy of what they can see on Canvas, please make sure to go over the instructions from them, and do not take anyone’s devices. READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. I will not listen to excuses when I come back. We will be talking about Weather and Climate this semester... this will mean we will end up talking about Climate Change. This will be your first introduction (in this class) to Climate Change, you will watch this 12 minute video about the more insane effects that will happen, or already have, in your lifetime. In your groups: You will watch the video on your own at the beginning of the class, use your headphones. After you have finished the video, start looking up other effects of Climate Change once everyone in your group is done start discussing some of the affects you found during your search. By the end, each group should have at least 10 effects (that were not in the video). Everyone can submit the same picture, but everyone must submit their group’s effects to get the points. Each person should come up with at least two of the 10 effects, write your name next to the number that you brought to the group. To get full points each student must submit the 10 effects, and have their name next to two of the facts. I will not be accepting any excuses when I come back, unless you were absent. If you are absent you must watch the video and find 5 effects on your own, then submit it. First hour the office does not want Evelyn Falzone to be using the bathroom, please ask anyone who asks to use the bathroom their name, if it is her please say sorry, but no.
