Dear Diary, You’ll never guess what happened? I’ve had an adventurous journey to Antarctica! To tell you the truth, let me tell you what happened. First, I went aboard my strong, gargantuan ship, Endurance. I set off to Antarctica. I brought my sturdy, thick bag to store all my vital stuff; I also brought my: telescope, jars (for samples), thick, warm clothes. After a few hours of journey, I found a scared, shivering stowaway sitting in a wooden, rotting locker. His name was Tim Jones and he was very funny, so I said he could be in the crew after he ate some food from the kind, old cook. After all, one more person to join the crew meant more chance to reach Antarctica. The next day, when the boat was sailing gently, Endurance crashed into a freezing, icy ice floe. This meant we couldn’t be able to get Antarctica. Then I thought, why did I want to come on this ship to sail to Antarctica? I felt depressed and miserable. But then I realised that we could walk on ice floes to get there! We tried the idea and it worked! I’m planning to take lots of samples to explore and find life sources in them. From, Sampath.
