Tanaga (English)
- Sensory details and figurative language are used to create vivid images that
contribute significantly to the meaning of the tanaga. (10)
- The tanaga conveys an insight into or observation about life. (5)
- The tanaga has the correct form or structure, i.e., it has four lines and each line
has seven syllables. (5)
- Word choice is appropriate and precise throughout. (5)
- There are few or no errors in mechanics, usage, grammar, or spelling. The
errors present do not interfere with the reader’s understanding. (5)
