Urban Research & Planning
URaP-TTW (Urban Research & Planning and Taylor Thomson Whitting) is a
proprietary limited company with offices in Australia, Indonesia and Singapore. It aims
to bring together expertise in different areas which can provide clients with integrated
and cohesive response to problems and issues. Client satisfaction and high quality
work are the company’s first considerations.
The structural and civil engineering practice of TTW was established in Sydney in
1958 with an annual construction value of over $900 million (AUD). The reputation
of the firm is based on the ability of the practice to produce innovative, economical
and elegant engineering solutions to both the public and private sectors, as either
principal consultant or as an integral member of the design team.
In order to provide the best combination of skills and experience for various planning
and development projects, TTW have integrated with URaP (Urban Research &
Planning). Since 1993 URaP, a multi-disciplinary consultancy, has been involved
in many complex and challenging projects in the areas of urban development and
planning, transportation and road safety, urban research and economic analysis.
The extensive resources of the combined firms provides us with the ability to identify
individuals with the most relevant skills and experience to address the diverse
aspects of large projects.
URaP-TTW have demonstrated an ability to work effectively in collaboration with
government authorities and private developers both at national and international level
through the successful completion of many projects.
