Our vision:
EMH is a growing company (medium-size company) which offers its customers innovative solutions in the filed of energy measurement. In this respect, EMH aims for quality and innovation
leadership in all business fields.
Founded in 1991 as EMH Elektrizitätszähler GmbH & Co. KG, our company makes progress in the
development and demands of the market. Today the focus is on complex systems for gathering,
transfer, storage and distribution of measuring data.
Today we are an innovative, established company, which plays a big role in the development,
production and merchandising of digital meters worldwide as well as their products and related
communication technologies.
We always face new markets and changed requirements of the market with a current and advanced productportfolio. In order to clarify our position and dedication in the international competition, we renamed our company to „EMH metering GmbH & Co. KG„ in 2010.
Our high motivated and competent employees at all three location in Germany enable the continous success. Our headquarter is located in Gallin since 2012, nearby Schwerin. The other locations are Brackel, near Hamburg, and our location in the South of Germany in Mannheim.

Sales
Due to the continous new development and requirements of the market, we especially take care
for a competent and professional service as well as technical support. Any questions regarding our
products and system solutions will be answered promptly by our sales staff. Thereby we take on all
challenges and suggestions to improve our products, because our sales staff also works as a connection between our customer and the product management. So it is possible for us to combine
customer requirements with the general product development in order to adjust our products to
customs needs.
Product management
Our product management developes strategies and is responsible for the arrangement, implementation and coordination of resulting tasks as well as the permanent and final monitoring. The
employees manage their products across the departments and work as a connection between
the sales department, the R&D department and the customer. Our product manager describe the
requirements of our products in detailed specifications, advice and support the R&D department
and production of the samples up to the final inspection. Furthermore they assist during the rollout of new products as well as the improvement of the existing products.
Support
„time is money“ - that means, quick and suitable solutions have to be found. Due to this reason we
offer support for all technical questions regarding our products. Beside the clarification of general
questions regarding products and solutions, this service includes the support of communication
problems with the meters, the analysis of measurement data and the correct handling of corresponding software.
Workshops & training
In consideration of the rapid development in the field of metering technology, it is very important
for us to inform our customers continously about all news of the EMH portfolio and changes in the
market. Therefore we organize workshops and technical training for our customers. You will find

Close to customer – EMH in Germany and the world
The proximity to our customers and the intense contact to them is very important for us. We attach great importance to be at the same level with our customers, to learn about requirements,
desires and improvement suggestions for our products and to implement them.
Our production and commercial departments are located in our headquarter in Gallin. This is where our competent sales staff take care of our customers in the North-, West- and East Germany.
For our customers in South Germany, we have an own branch in Mannheim, so we are able to ensure to our customers the best possible support.
The international customers are supported by our Headquarter in Gallin.
We annually presentate ourselve on national and international exhibitions and use this opportunity for personal customer conversations, for the communication with market partner and the
presentation of our innovations, products and system solutions.

Independent certification for meters with
modern testing equipments
Our testing laboratory
Beside the production and development of meter and measuring systems EMH has its own state
accreditated test laboratory EP21. With this test laboratory we are able to officially certify every
electricity meter. If a customer desires an official certification, we perform reports and special audits. The test laboratory is able to calibrate meters up to U= 700V, I=120A and 50/60 Hz ,respectively 16,7 Hz and up to accuracy class 0,2 S.
The customers benefit from the state approved test centre EP21 at EMH metering GmbH & Co. KG.
If requested by the customer, the meters can be calibrated to be used for billing purposes. In addition to official calibration, our company is also able to offer a compliance certificate for the meters
in accordance with the EU guidelines 2004/22 EG (MID) according to module B + D.
Productportfolio - from a single device up to complex
system solution - everything from one source
Our product portfolio is diversified according to different requirements of the market and the
wishes from our customers. It contains meters for power plant feedings and measurments in high
voltage - and transmission networks, as well as special meters for the usage in distribution-and
low voltage networks and electronic residential meters. Besides that, EMH metering GmbH & Co.
KG offers diverse meter applications for traction measurement, wind power stations, sub-metering solution and industrial (bus-) applications and also system solutions for the transmission and
analysis of energy data for billing purposes.
The Smart Metering products, which were specified together with the main German utilities, can
be offered and bought from us. Our products can be integrated into Smart Metering system solutions. These solutions are geared to a mass rollout of intelligent electronic residential meters
including all the relevant facets and requirements like signatures and data encryption.
We offer powerful smart grid solutions for different sectors generated by our subsidiary company
EGS. Together with competent partners we support our customers to manage upcoming challenges.

The EGS GmbH & Co. KG (EMH Grid Solution) was founded in 2011. The EGS is our subsidiary company of EMH GmbH & Co. KG with the headquarter in EMH‘s facility in Gallin.
The EGS GmbH & Co. KG develops and implements powerful solutions for smart grid, smart metering, mains automation, power quality and load control. Together with well known partners EGS
offers complete solutions in mentioned business fields. The EGS concentrates the main competence of different partners with the use of „best practise„ experiences, so the EGS is able to present
our customers customized and economic solutions.
