I'm pleased to present to you the first issue of
the Siemens Healthcare Training Center's latest
publication, concenTRAIN – Technical Training for
customers. The training offered here is available
exclusively to Siemens Regional Units. It is intended
to help your customers further improve their
operational excellence.
Knowledge is the key to success. And it is extremely
important to continue building upon existing
knowledge and keep up with the state-of-the-art.
Continuing education is now more important than
ever because it allows organizations to keep pace
with increasingly complex regulatory frameworks
and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Our objective is to work with you, our regional
representatives, to enable Siemens Healthcare
customers around the globe to take care of firstlevel service themselves. Considering this objective,
these courses do not go into the same depth as
our Customer Service Engineer trainings. Instead,
we are offering our customers the opportunity to
perform certain service tasks themselves, without
the need for third-party vendors.

Siemens Healthcare Technical Product Information is designed for biomedical and clinical engineers who operate and maintain new Siemens
Imaging systems in hospitals. Courses are provided on-site and last
between one and five days depending on the customer's requirements
or preferences. The regional Siemens Unit is responsible for ensuring
the customer can provide suitable training infrastructure (rooms, systems). The number of participants is limited to eight for each course.

A systematic approach to maintenance
Our Corrective and Preventive Maintenance courses cover a specified
range of topics and take place at the Siemens Healthcare Training
Center in Erlangen, Germany.
Preventive Maintenance Classes are marketed by Siemens regional
companies to biomedical and service engineers who want to provide
first-level maintenance or basic operating services. The courses are
available for different products.
The Siemens Healthcare Training Center in Erlangen offers standardized training content and provides classroom training programs which
take place periodically according to demand. The training programs
including invitations, certificates, etc. are managed with TCmanager.
