SPECIAL EFFECTS DIVISION Giving Way to New Ideas Making the Impossible Possible—MeeFog™ Special Effects AN EXQUISITE PALETTE TO CHOOSE FROM MEEFOG™ CONCEPT MeeFog™ systems offer artists and designers innovative and robust aesthetic possibilities to create living and moving pure water fog effects with several methods for producing ultra-fine fog droplets. Fog adds dimension and impact to a design, and it can be used to highlight and accentuate many design elements. MeeFog™ uses pure water and a special stainless steel, high-pressure fog nozzle to create billions of ultra-fine fog droplets that are 1/10” the diameter of a human hair. Since MeeFog™ is pure water, there are no expensive chemicals to buy or residues to clean up. Fog can be used as a medium to modify the visual and tactile aspects of the ambient environment. Nature is full of examples of sensational fog and cloud effects—light and wispy strands of morning mist on a calm lake, swirls and eddies of mystical low-lying ground fog, huge cumulus clouds building and rolling over a darkened prairie, thin fleecy streaks of high altitude cirrus clouds glowing pink in the afternoon sun, and thick and mysterious clumps of dense fog clinging to a rocky coast. Mee Industries has a vision for the future that incorporates a firm commitment to quality research & development, product design, and continual excellence. No other company can compete with our depth of fog products or our approach to providing fog solutions that have unlimited possibilities. There are many ways of expressing the average droplet size in a given spray. Sauter mean diameter is a number used to express the average droplet size in terms of the average ratio of volume to surface area of the droplets. Since it deals with surface area, sauter mean diameter is a good way to describe a spray that is to be used for processes involving evaporation. Sauter mean diameter is the diameter of a hypothetical droplet whose ratio of volume to surface area is equal to that of the entire spray.
