Within the vast expanse of the green
open space, is the popular and much
loved Pavilion Café. Providing a
community focal point often used for
meetings and parties, it is also home
to Haringey Tennis, an organisation
that manages the Parks very popular
tennis courts.
The Café terrace provides the perfect
viewing point to watch the regular
football and cricket matches that take
place on the playing fields throughout
the year.
So whether it’s a rigorous workout on
the tennis courts, the kids want to
release some energy on the playground
monkey bars, or you’re after a relaxing
cappuccino in the Pavilion Café, Albert
Road Recreation Ground has something
for everyone.

Albert Road Recreation Ground won
the Green Flag Award in 2006. This is

At the base of two hills, one sweeping down from
the leafy suburb of Muswell Hill and the other leading
to the busy and thriving location of Bounds Green,
sits Albert Road Recreation Ground.
