About Conference “Concrete and Concrete structures”
Based on the great success of Conference “Concrete & Concrete Structures 2009”, we
again want to bring to academics, researchers and practitioners from Central Europe the
review of recent achievements, share the latest developments and discuss present as
well as future challenges in concrete and concrete structures.
The sixth International Conference “Concrete & Concrete Structures 2013” is the
natural continuation of the previous conferences taking place in Žilina, 1999, 2002,
2005 and 2009. We hope that the sixth International Conference “Concrete & Concrete
Structures 2013” will be an excellent opportunity to gain professional state-of-the-art
knowledge on recent developments and technologies as well as interesting current
projects, share information and ideas and discuss them with experts, form international
networks, and renew old acquaintances again.
Themes and topics of the conference
The Conference will be focused on the following topics groups:
 New materials and products in concrete and concrete structures,
 New trends in theory, design and construction,
 Development in structural systems,
 Diagnostic of concrete structures, bridges, tunnels and concrete pavements,
 Maintenance, rehabilitation and reconstruction,
 Standardisation in concrete and concrete structures, Eurocodes,
