DAISY SAVES ALL YEAR ROUND
Having a Daisy Solar cover AND a Daisy
WinterKleen means you have the best pool
care cover combination.
In the summer a solar cover reduces the cost of
maintaining a warm ready to use pool.
A solar cover works best when it is in constant
use - rolling it up when you want to swim
and rolling it back on to reduce water loss,
chemical loss as well as trap and retain the
sun’s free warmth.
In the winter months a WinterKleen cover
protects your pool from leaves, dirt and debris
but lets water through into the pool.
A WinterKleen cover works best when
stretched over your pool during long periods
when you don’t use the pool.

Solar Cover is used throughout the swimming
season with the assistance of a Daisy roller.
Rolled out over your pool when not in use a
solar cover will warm the water, trap heat, retain
that warmth, stop water loss as well as deliver
all the other benefits.
A Daisy Solar cover will add months to the
swimming season and you can of course leave
this cover on your pool over the non swimming
months or extended periods of non-use. A
solar cover will assist in keeping your pool
cleaner.
However you need to appreciate that if a Solar
cover functions best when taken off and on
the pool, then leaving it sitting on pool water
for long periods is not using it to it’s best
WINTER
DEBRIS COVER
Water stays clear
advantage. It is best to store your Solar cover
during a prolonged down-time and save it
for the warmer months, and install a Daisy
WinterKleen for the off season.
WinterKleen uses a fine polypropylene mesh
that is strong enough to survive the elements
but lightweight for easy handling.
The finished cover is taut across the entire pool
overlapping it by 200mm with tie-down toggles,
about 800mm apart, anchored a further
200mm from the cover edge. That means you
need a minimum of 400mm from your pools
edge to install a WinterKleen.
The tie-down toggles are easily pulled tight one
by one until taut. Leaves and dirt that fall on the
cover can be blown or swept off the cover.
A WinterKleen comes in Blue, Green or Black
and comes as a square cut to fit over any
shaped pool. With extra measurements, a
cover can be shaped to the pool. This requires
an expert to measure accurately.
A WinterKleen comes with an 8 year pro rata
warranty and is easily removed when it’s time
to put on a Daisy Solar pool cover.

The Daisy Power is our newest roller in the Showcase range, designed to look
good while offering customers the convenience of an electric roller.
The standard Daisy Power roller comes as a battery operated electric roller with
AC charger, two remotes and control buttons on the cast aluminium housing
mounted on the end frame.
This simple and easy to use electric option allows pool owners to roll up their
cover in minutes with the press of a button – something our customers have
been waiting for.

POWER
Optional extras for Daisy Power include a solar panel, which clamps to the end
frame and comes with an aligning aid for best performance. This maintains the
battery charge using the sun’s rays, meaning your Daisy Power roller is always
ready to go!
Customers can also purchase a PV post to mount the panel on a post away
from the roller frame.
Daisy Power can be retrofitted onto all existing 100mm Daisy Rollers through a
retro kit
Daisy Power also has a disengage mechanism, which allows for freewheeling
rollout and rollup of the cover, and is a feature unique to Daisy.
Daisy Power style options include the standard height ST roller, squat profile,
wall mount and solar panel kit.
The standard Daisy Power is competitively priced at $1245 for a complete roller
up to 4.6m. With the normal ST roller retailing for $579, and the FM at $676,
this is a small price difference for a lot more convenience.

If you require a return of a domestic cover or
if a cover size that is ordered and supplied
correctly turns out to be the incorrect size for
the pool, a few scenarios are available.

If the cover is too narrow (on the width of
the pool), then when the cover is delivered

or NSW, Daisy will be able to weld onto the
width of the cover to make it wider. Daisy
will only charge for the material used to weld
onto the existing cover. Please note minimum
fee of $50.00 plus GST applies for repair
work. NOTE – if the cover has been cut to
shape it is likely that by welding on a section
it will distort and shrink the edge of the cover
rendering it too small. Daisy accepts no
responsibility for attempted repairs after the
cover has been cut in to pool shape. (after
approximately one month the cover can lose
it’s “weld ability” therefore we may attempt to
assist, however take no responsibility of failed
repair attempts)

If the cover is too short (on the length of
the pool) we can not cross weld satisfactorily
across the cover and a new cover will be
required.

If the cover is DRY, meaning it has not been
rolled onto the pool (NOT meaning a cover
rolled onto the pool then removed and dried
out), then when the cover is delivered back
to either of the Daisy factories in WA or NSW,
Daisy will credit the cover MINUS 20% of the
non taxed original invoice amount.

If the cover has been on a pool and is
wet and has not been cut to shape, and
has been dried as much as possible, then
when the cover is delivered back to either of
the Daisy factories in WA or NSW, Daisy will
credit the cover MINUS 40% of the non taxed
original invoice amount.

If the cover has been on a pool and has
been cut to shape, or over three months have
passed from the original invoice date, Daisy is
unable to accept the cover back for any form
of credit.

Any replacement cover will be invoiced
for dispatch and normal freight policy
applies, credits will be issued upon receipt
and inspection of the cover at the Daisy
factories in WA or NSW. Any redelivery
of covers repaired and or altered will incur
a freight charge.
Restocking Policy - Roller
Freight Warranty
NOTE – All parts of the roller are required and
must be unused, undamaged, unassembled
and in the original packaging to be eligible for
a credit. Credits will be issued upon receipt
and inspection of the roller at the Daisy
factories in WA or NSW.
Metro Delivery Time is approximately 2-3
working days, country areas add 1-2 extra
working days.
Cover Warranty
All non metro area deliveries will incur a lower
cost per item when you arrange multiple order
deliveries to a single delivery point.
If a domestic roller requires return for
credit and it is a stock size, (not a specially
manufactured size – specially manufactured
rollers and rollers that have been purchased
more than three months before the return
date will not be accepted for a credit),
still in its original unopened packaging,
then when the roller is delivered back to
either of the Daisy factories in WA or NSW
undamaged, Daisy will credit the amount of
the original invoice.
All Daisy Pool Covers are covered by our
exclusive pro rata month by month warranty to
the original consumer. This means that Daisy
Pool Covers will credit for the months that the
original consumer does not achieve from their
cover (up to the warranty period).
i.e.
3 years (36 months) for Series 3, 4 years (48
months) for Series 4, 5 years (60 months) for
Series 5, 8 years (96 months) for Series 8. It
also means that the consumer must pay for
the period of time that they have used the
product when ordering a replacement cover.
Example: A consumer achieves 3 years, 9
months (45 months) from a Series 5 cover.
Take today’s retail price (say $436.00), divide
the price by warranty period in months then
multiply by the months the consumer used
the cover (IE $436.00 (retail Price) ÷ 60
months (Warranty period) = $7.27 (per month
price), then multiply $7.27 (per month price)
by 45 (months consumer used product) =
$327.15 charged to client
All warranty claims where the original
consumer has achieved over 66% (2/3rds)
of the life of the cover (warranty period) the
warranty claim can be handled by the reseller.
Daisy Pool Covers will cover the warranty by
reducing the purchase price to the reseller,
(using the same formula as above) to ensure
resellers receive normal margin while handling
the warranty claim. Daisy Pool Covers will
guide the warranty procedure and authorise
warranty claims via phone after the reseller’s
inspection of the cover. If any reseller is
uneasy handling a warranty claim, Daisy Pool
Covers will take over and handle the claim
direct with the consumer.
NOTE-A digital photo may be required.
Any warranty claim where the consumer
has not achieved 66% (2/3rds) of the life
of the cover (warranty period) Daisy Pool
Covers must handle direct with the client.
In all cases it is the responsibility of the
consumer to produce a proof of purchase
showing date purchased and series of
cover. Please Note – Warranty claims
are only redeemable as a discount on the
purchase of a replacement cover. No cash
payments will be made.
Our policy is to get the product to you in the
most cost effective manner possible. We do
not apply margin or profit to freight charges.
We reserve the right to pass on any excess
costs involved in getting the product to you. It
is advisable to ensure that you understand the
total cost of the product and add the relevant
tax and freight components prior to quoting a

HOW TO MEASURE AND INSTALL
Measuring a pool is simply measuring the maximum water level length and
width, of the main body of water. If there are any step areas, then measure
the step area separately as set out.
Daisy will include extra material to allow for an upturn and shrinkage, so the
exact water level measurement is all that is required.

A) Cut the cover back to waterline, however, wait 2-3 weeks after initial cut for

B) Cut two vertical slits in the cover upturn, either side of your skimmer box,
fold the flap you have created into the skimmer box, therefore allowing you
to hose debris off the top of the cover into the skimmer box.
Your Daisy cover is delivered with an ample margin for trim. In some cases
the excess is sufficient for secondary use and left for you to use as you
see fit. Because our covers are made of polyethylene they are (when clean)
recyclable.

cord attachment (Feather Plugs) on the
tube and mark about 100mm in from the
end cut of the pool cover and punch a
hole with the wad punch supplied.
2. Install eyelets.
Under the punched hole place the male
half on the ground and female on the top.
Tap together.
Measure: Arrive at a square metre total of pool
area by multiplying the length by the width.
e.g. A 5m Width X B 10m Length = 50sqm.
Add any extras (step areas etc)
i.e. 2sqm that totals to 52sqm.
Multiply the sqm area by cover choice:
52 X (525B) $17.50 = $910.00
3. Secure cord to cover and roller.
Tie a loop at one end and attach to
Feather Plug on roller.
Thread other end through cover
eyelet and tie off to cord adjuster
or Bowline knot.
4. Repeat for all cord attachments.
If your pool has a curved end then you
only need to use 3-4 anchoring points.
5. Adjust the cords with the cord
adjuster so that the cover comes
onto the roller tube evenly. Start from
the centre and work out to the ends on
both sides aiming to set cords to retrieve
evenly.

get it right.
