Time Recording
Requirements
1. All team members must record time worked on the project accurately.
2. Time is to be recorded to the nearest 15 minute increment.
3. Typical week work should have minimum of 5 entries per person.
4. Teams decide the cut off point for time keeping each week. Work beyond that
point recorded in the next week’s summary.
5. Record all time on team development activities, including team meetings,
design work, code, inspections, testing, team meetings, etc. Do not record other
class time, reading assignments and things not related to your team project
development.
Notes
You will not be penalized for too many or too few hours compared to your plan. You
will lose points if accurate time recording is not done by all team members. Being able
to analyze effort is a key part of learning software engineering and quality
improvement.
