LSL3 Titan

The Titan is a high-performance low-energy LED spotlight
machined from solid brass bar stock. Artistic styling and
precise machining make this fixture both attractive and
functional, interchangeable optics allow the designer to
efficiently utilize light output by focusing it directly on
the subject. Engineered primarily as a heat sink for the
High Flux LED array, the Titan addresses the need for
thermal management head on. The exceptional thermal
conductivity of brass or copper construction together
with the finned design provides excellent convection to
the exterior environment. The Titan has an integral LED
driver that allows it to operate on standard 12 volt systems
with no additional hardware needed. The newly redesigned Titan fixture, while not intended for submerged
applications, is engineered to IP 68 standards protecting
against water intrusion. Testing at the factory by total
submersion virtually guarantees that the luminaire and
all its internal components will remain protected from
moisture regardless of mounting orientation or location.

20, 35 and 50* watts and beam spreads in 12° medium-spot,
36° flood and 60° wide-flood make it possible to illuminate
75-foot-tall palms and wide stately trees, or cast subdued
light onto low shrubbery. A combination of accessories can
be inserted to reduce glare, enhance light output or shift
color to create contrast. The natural copper blends into the
landscape or becomes an attractive feature when used in a
visible location. Over time it will develop a patina of sienna
red and verdigris. Totally sealed using six silicone gaskets.

The Calypso offers high-performance in a small
package. An excellent choice for lighting architectural
features such as arches or columns, or for highlighting
landscape art, birdbaths or statuary. Its small size
makes it inconspicuous when canopy mounted in
trees or on a structure. Optional lamps in 5, 10, 15 and
20 watts and beam angles from 10° to 38°. Specify
L (linear spread) lens for even light distribution on
columns or low horizontal walls. Specify H (hex
baffle) when down lighting from trees or structure to
minimize glare from below. The Calypso is a smaller
version of the awesome Mariner luminaire, but be
assured that size is the only difference. The Calypso is

The Cabrillo spotlight is just 1 1/4” in diameter and
slightly over 6” in length. This stealth lighting tool gives
the designer fresh options when an inconspicuous light
source is desirable or required. Use surface mounted to
exterior column tops aimed down for a dramatic effect,
or canopy mounted in trees. Use hidden under eaves or
attached to landscape structures and accurately aimed
onto a subject. The Cabrillo, like our larger spotlight
luminaires, is a specification grade product of the highest

The T/S from Auroralight is the perfect solution for mounting our
SL series luminaires into tree canopies. For protection of valuable
specimen trees, the T/S is totally passive. Machined from solid brass
for durability, contact with the host tree is buffered via a PVC foot. A UV
stabilized EPDM rubber strap firmly holds the fixture, while the highly
elastic material allows for uninhibited tree growth. Patented design
allows the strap to be cut to length on site, accommodating from 2” to
18” caliper branches. For larger branches or trunks, T/S brass fittings
can be connected in series combining up to three units on a single
strap, with 5” to 36” in between. For easy and safe installation, you
can pre-wire luminaires on the ground, and use the supplied stainless
steel retention clip to hold connectors and extra wire tucked inside
each brass fitting. This allows the installer to focus only on the task of
safely climbing the tree and placing the luminaire. For use exclusively
with our family of SL and LS series spotlights. Specify size, 36” or 22”
and duty required; use “HD” for two fixtures on a single mount or for
heavy fixtures SL16HW Mariner or LSL3 Titan.

The “PL” and AMS™ Power Stake is a low-voltage
landscape lighting power supply listed to UL standard
1838. This unit can be buried within 1” of the top, even
in exterior wet locations. Adapts from line voltage feed

The Moonlighter creates a romantic ambience when
hung from tree branches or pergolas. A well-diffused
20 watt halogen lamp emulates the effect of moonlight,
showering a subtle illumination 10’ to 15’ in all directions.
For the most romantic and subtle lighting specify “N” for
a natural copper underside, the reflection of which will
cast a golden hue more closely resembling “candle light”
than halogen. Select “P” for a white baked-on power coat
to gently direct the crisp halogen light downward onto
surrounding areas. Constructed in heavy-gauge copper
and machined brass with a frosted glass lens. Shipped
pre-wired with a 10’ cord for ease of installation, and a

PHAROS BOLLARD
The Pharos is the flagship for our new fleet of estate
quality indirect bollards, for those familiar with
Auroralight, the quality engineering and performance will
come as no surprise. Machined from solid copper and
brass bar stock, it is assembled with stainless fasteners,
Pyrex™ glass and high-temperature Silicone O-rings so
unwanted moisture is completely sealed out. The Pharos
is built to survive the harshest environs but is equally at
home in paradise. It features an indirect light source with
a segmented micro-reflector for glare free performance.
The Pharos is optically advanced and is flexible for
individual installations by offering many options to the
designer: four overall heights, three, two, or no discs,
external shielding, frosted or clear lens, and a choice of
five mounting options from an oversized ground stake
to a sophisticated leveling pedestal with copper trim.
Finally, we offer MR11 halogen lamps in three wattages.

HERMOSA BOLLARD
The Hermosa Bollard blends understated elegance with
engineering features only available from Auroralight.
The ALP feature adjusts lamp position relative to the cap
assembly and exposes varying lens surface area, thereby
controlling the amount and radial spread of light. Specify
optional Directional Reflector™ (BDR) for horizontal
beam control. Built-in vertical spread adjustment can be
locked in place once set. Recommended spacing ranges
from 10’ on center for smaller models with low wattage
lamps to 25’ on center for the tallest bollards with 35
watt lamps. Select one of five mounting options, and
seven lamps. Optional Internal Diffuser™ (BID) softens
light pattern around bollard, while the standard clear
lens projects a defined circle of light. Shipped with a 12
volt 20 watt 4,000 hour halogen lamp.

BOLLARD MOUNTS
BD-L/P Leveling Pedestal
The Leveling Pedestal is a perfect mount when installing any 300 series bollard onto a
concrete footing. Equipped with three stainless steel leveling feet this mount corrects for
concrete footing imperfections and levels the bollard mounting base resulting in level
installations up to 6° off horizontal. This mount is designed to fit over up to three 3/4” PVC
bundled conduits.
BD-G/S2 Ground Stake
The G/S2 2” diameter stake stabilizes any 300 series bollard up to 30” high. This mount
is designed for ground installations and can accommodate up to one 3/4” or three 1/2”
conduits.
BD-G/S2.5 Ground Stake
The G/S2.5 2 1/2” diameter stake stabilizes any 300 series bollard up to 30” high. This mount
is designed for ground installations and can accommodate up to three 3/4” or four 1/2”
conduits.
BD-S/M Surface Mount
Machined from solid brass the Surface Mount is equipped with stainless steel hardware
and a unobtrusive spun copper escutcheon plate. For clean installations of up to 30” high
bollards mounted to solid level surfaces only.
BD-1/2 Universal 1/2” Male Adapter
The 1/2” adapter provides flexibility to mount onto a variety of off-the-shelf electrical
devices. Not recommended for bollards over 19” high.
BD-200 SERIES BOLLARD MOUNT OPTIONS
PL-G/S Ground Stake
The PL-G/S mount stake stabilizes our larger scale path lights and our 200 series line of
bollards. To be used for ground installations with remote transformer. This is the default
mount for the 200 series bollards.
PL-1/2 Universal 1/2” Male Adapter
The 1/2” mount does not come with a stake and is intended for mounting to 1/2” NPS
threaded electrical devices such as the Power Stake (shown below).
PL-TR Trident Spike 6”, 9” or 12”
The Trident Spike stabilizes luminaires when mounted in loose soil with its 4” x 1/4” thick
mount plate. Available in 6”, 9” or 12” spike lengths the Trident Spike is constructed entirely
from stainless steel. This hearty mount can be used with path lights and our 200 series line
of bollards.
PL-P/S Power Stake
The Power Stake transformer enclosure provides for 120 volt line voltage feed to our low
voltage luminaires and 200 series line of bollards. The Power Stake is equipped with a 75
watt electronic transformer and an aggressive PVC stake which can accommodate up to
three 3/4” or four 1/2” conduits.

ADVANCED OPTICAL SYSTEM ™
The Advanced Optical System™ exclusively from Auroralight, combines
vertical beam control (ALP), with a variety of Directional Reflectors™
(DR) for horizontal beam control. The ALP mechanism allows for easy
adjustment of light perimeter to accommodate a wide range of site
conditions. The DR controls the direction of light on the ground. Adding
an Internal Diffusion™ (ID) accessory will scatter the light for a softer
glow with no shadowing. Directional Reflectors™ (DR) are available in
four standard horizontal beam spreads as follows: 90°, 180°, 240° and
300°. Reflectors are machined from solid brass and plated with a highly
specular nickel finish for superior performance. A stainless steel set
screw locks the reflector in position after on-site adjustment, retaining
the setting even during relamping. Located inside the sealed optical
assembly, the reflector is protected from the elements. The Internal
Diffuser™ (ID) is a 360° pattern and cannot be combined with a DR. Take

The PL-EXT integrates a telescopic feature with the
exceptional performance of four differently styled top
assemblies. Fully collapsed the fixture measures 18” and
extends to a full 36” height. Equally at home in an alpine
meadow where snow accumulates, or in a lush tropical
setting where rapid plant growth necessitates a height
adjustable fixture. A variety of Directional Reflectors™
(DR) are available for horizontal beam control. Adding
an Internal Diffusion™ (ID) accessory will scatter the
light for a softer glow with no shadowing. The entire
assembly is milled from solid copper and brass bar
with stainless steel hardware. The “water clear” lens
is fabricated from heavy wall Pyrex™ glass tube
that features high heat resistance and superior light

applications. The Lucent is available in both 12 volt and
120 volt configutations. The fixture is designed to work
with all the bollard mount accessories such as the BDL/P Leveling Pedestal, which allows the fixture to bolt to
a concrete footing or surface and be adjusted for plumb.
Ideal spacing would be from 25’ to 55’ on center. The

The Mariner sconce is used mainly for down lighting
and wall grazing. The up light version is equally
effective on columns and pilasters, and requires the
use of a 60° angled shroud (60) or no shroud (NS) for
proper drainage. Full shroud (90 or HW90) is used
for down lighting applications only. A unique screw
less mounting plate (J/B) secures the luminaire to a
standard 3” or 4” diameter junction box (by others).
Mounting options include a 4” diameter surface
mount (4/0), and a 1.6” diameter trellis mount (T/M) or
brass splicebox (S/B). High-density EPDM gasket and
mounting hardware are included. Specify extension EX3
to offset luminaire head from the mounting surface by

It has the ability to regress the light source from 0” to over 2” below
the lens putting the LWL5 completely in a class of its own. This

Color filters are an effective tool used to fine tune and enhance a lighting design. It is often this additional level of detail that distinguishes a great lighting design
from the rest. Filters can enhance depth perception, conjure up a moonlit garden illusion, add drama, accent a focal point or add a festive, seasonal touch. The
possibilities are endless. To simplify the selection, a few guiding principles drawn from Auroralight’s extensive experience are summarized below. Auroralight
offers dichroic glass filters for superior performance over conventional colored glass filters.
i. Subtle shift in color between foreground and background elements in a landscape adds to depth perception. Use #1 or #2 filter combinations. These filters are
not saturated enough to produce a noticeable color effect. Select 2 or more filters for best contrast.
ii. Highlighting a single specimen with the same filter combination as above will add interest to the individual plant, producing an intriguing color play of
different-hued highlights.
iii. A landscape focal point can be enhanced by adding one or more subtle color filters (#1, #2), or a saturated color (#3, #4) for a more dramatic effect.
iv. Our darkest filters (#3, #4) are selected for their appealing color and the best balance between saturation and light output. Use when a vibrant color effect is
desired, especially for seasonal, festive occasions or permanent installations such as a water feature.
v. Light blue filters (B1, B2) emulate the quality of sun- and moonlight, helping plants appear lush and healthy. Also use to “whiten” halogen light or emulate
ceramic metal halide sources.
vi. Our light yellow filters (Y1, Y2) warm up the light beam and flatter the skin. Use to make people look good, such as inside a gazebo or patio. Also use to lower
color temperature and emulate incandescent sources.
vii. Select a green filter to enhance the green of foliage. Also use to emulate fluorescent and mercury vapor sources.

FINISHES
Auroralight luminaires ship with a natural brushed copper finish that
develops a patina over time. To specify another finish, please select from
options below. Contact factory for lead time on non-standard finishes.
NATURAL PATINA (STANDARD FINISH)
Auroralight’s hallmark finish is natural copper, aged by the elements
over time to form a patina. Local climatic factors such as precipitation,
sun exposure or humidity all contribute to the development of a
NAT
natural patina. Generally, untreated copper and brass turn dark in
about 30 days of outdoor exposure. As time goes by, copper assumes
a deep red hue, while brass slowly darkens. Subtle verdigris may
start coloring our outdoor luminaires in a few years. Natural patina
harmonizes perfectly with any outdoor setting.
BRUSHED NICKEL PVD
Auroralight’s Nickel PVD finish is applied through a state-of-the-art
NI
process, Physical Vapor Deposition. Proven in applications such as
bathroom fixtures and marine equipment, the finish is extremely
durable on our outdoor luminaires. Applied over solid copper and
brass, resulting appearance is similar to stainless steel.
BRONZE LIVING PATINA
Our Bronze Living Patina is an accelerated patina finish for those

discerning clients who do not wish to wait for nature to take its time
and paint their luminaires with a natural patina. Living Patina is wax
coated and continues to age outdoors. Unique coloring will keep
developing based on local climatic conditions.

Should any Auroralight fixture fail to operate properly for any reason other than lamp
burnout*, return the item freight-paid to Auroralight. We will repair or replace the product
at no charge. This warranty covers accidental damage under normal usage. Intentional
misuse, vandalism or gross neglect shall void all warranties. Products damaged due to
accident will incur return shipping charges. On-site labor is not covered.
*Effective March 2008 for luminaires having an LED light source, the LED and its
components internal to the luminaire shall be warranted for 60 months from the date of
purchase. For complete details, ask for certificate.
