Bradford White Water Heaters has been named the tank type water
heater brand most purchased by plumbing and heating contractors
for the fourth consecutive year, according to a 2009 independent study
conducted by Clear Seas Research. The study also showed Bradford

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
A/C Mechanical Troubleshooting
Luxaire Residential Communicating Controls
Receive an overview of the control system during this course.
Students will learn how to wire controls, gain an understanding of
a basic system setup and advanced system setup. In addition,
we will review troubleshooting using the Service Tool.
This course focuses on troubleshooting of the mechanical refrigeration side of an air conditioning system. Topics include, what
superheat and sub cooling can and can’t tell you about a system, evaluating compressor discharge gas temperatures, finding restrictions and checking metering devices.
Personal Protective Equipment
Armstrong Modulating Furnace
This course will provide an overview of OSHA requirements for
personal protection. Attendees will be taught the importance of
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the expectations that
are listed in 29cfr 1910 of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration guidelines.
This course will cover the basic setup, operation and troubleshooting of the new Armstrong Air 97% AFUE modulating furnace.
This course is designed for both the installer and service
technician.
Changes to the 2011 Ohio
Plumbing Code
Troubleshooting the Bradford White ICON
Water Heater Control System
This course will focus on the changes that were made to the 2011
plumbing code. A basic understanding of the 2007 code and a
copy of the 2011 Ohio Plumbing code is suggested to gain the
maximum benefit from this course.
