CITY OF ELK GROVE NEWSLETTER November–December 2015 / Volume 15 / Issue 6 Celebrating 15 years of Service and City Pride ELK GROVE NEWS Recognize a Veteran or Public Safety Worker Name a City Street After Them! Honor those whose service went above and beyond the standard call of duty—nominate them for the City’s Veteran and Public Safety Street Naming Program! Street signs will include a symbol indicating their applicable branch of service, and the honoree will also have his/her biography posted on the City’s website. By naming a City street in their honor, we remember them, celebrate them, and pass on their legacy of extraordinary service to future generations. The Laguna Ridge area will soon have a street named in honor of Staff Sergeant Byron Lee Reeves, an Air Force veteran and Elk Grove resident of 41 years.
