High-tensile steel chains
and accessories for mining
Since ’40, XX century, when the chain conveyors had been used in coal mine for the
first time, the chain has played important role in the whole exploration process and
according to the users, there is no better way to exploit high-duty walls in the mines.
K.B.P. Kettenwerk Becker-Prünte GmbH, similarly to FASING S.A., specializes in high quality
link chains production, especially big diameter chains, flight bars and accessories.
Many years of tradition in producing chains, modern machine park and precise technology create
the high quality in the company and make it recognizable all over the world. The high standard of products is an effect of many years of experience based on research and knowledge of engineers and experts
from technology and construction department. K.B.P. chains work in different geological conditions
in many mines all over the world, for example in China, USA, Australia, Germany, Poland and CIS countries.
Since 2008 the company has been a part of FASING Group, and together the both factories – FASING and
K.B.P. – are the biggest producer of high quality link chains and accessories in the world.
K.B.P. chains guarantee failure-free coal extraction and the continuous development, investments in research, implementing of new products and rich know-how. Those factors ensure the high
position of the company in the global market. The company functions basing on Integrated Management
System according to DIN ISO 9001, certified by Lloyd’s Register. The seat of the K.B.P. is located in Datteln,
Ruhr Basin, Germany.
The chain link is the important element of machinery technology. It is a crucial part on which
depends failure-free and economic extraction of the resource. High technology standard of the link
chains is an effect of many years of research and experience of Becker-Prünte staff.
