Vandal Resistant Battery Unit FEATURES Catalogue Number: Comments: Application The UC unit is designed for vandal resistant emergency lighting applications such as schools, institutions, apartment complexes or any public areas where vandalism is a concern. Heavy gauge steel body and polycarbonate heads offer the protection required for these areas. Type: Construction The UC series is constructed from 20 gauge steel and finished with white powder coat paint. The lighting head cubes are molded from high impact polycarbonate. Lamp and reflector assemblies are fully adjustable, high output PAR18 or MR16. Installation Universal mounting pattern and key‐hole slots are stamped into the back plate. Internal Specifications The UC series utilizes a high‐efficiency two stage charger providing a fully automatic constant charging current with low voltage disconnect protection. Vandal Resistant Battery Unit SPECIFICATIONS Internal Specifications The UC series utilizes a high‐efficiency two stage charger providing a fully automatic constant charging current with low voltage disconnect protection. All components used in the circuitry are temperature compensated. The charger also has brownout and short circuit protection. Charger status is easily determined via a dual diagnostic LED display which indicates AC/ON and High Charge. An external push button test switch allows maintenance personnel to quickly determine the operational status of the unit and lamp load. Mechanical Specifications The UC series is constructed from 20 gauge steel finished with a white powder coat paint finish. Universal mounting pattern stamped into the back of the unit allows for direct mounting to various conduit boxes. Key hole slots provided for additional mounting options.
