Small Wind Turbine

College Farm Site

Our 60 acre college farm site east of the main campus will be the location for additional small wind turbine training. This is the location of our

SkyStream 3.7 turbine which will provide electricity to a portion of one of the agricultural buildings. The Skystream can be lowered with a gin pole to provide hands-on training to students.

It will work in conjunction with a solar pv array and both will be used to teach wind turbine/solar pv hybrid systems.
