The business in Shanghai consists of two elements: assembly and machining
processes. We industrialise and assemble machines in close collaboration with
Mastec Stålvall. Our machining shop handles small to medium-sized batches
and is operated in close collaboration with our Ulricehamn unit.

We went to China to meet the growing
competition and to get closer to our
customers. This move gave us a strong
international foothold and a broad global
perspective.
We were pleased by having really good
contacts in China, but also wanted to be
present on the market. Our own processing and assembly plant was ready for
operation in 2005 in the highly intensive
region of Shanghai. This has given us a
greater ability to act and a stronger competitive edge when it comes to cost efficiency,
local precense on a growing market and
quality-assured production.

MACHINING
We offer a wide arrey of machining
processes. Our multipurpose machines
equip us to carry out complex assignments
in aluminium, steel, stainless steel and
plastic, as well as special, more high-tech
materials. Prices are set at cost-effective
levels and our customers are active internationally, particularly in Southeast Asia.
ASSEMBLY
Our plant has capacity for larger assembly
jobs, such as different machine systems for
the packaging sector. Testing, simulation,
training and support are included in the
services we offer to customers who are
active in this part of the world.
TESTING
We carry out advanced tests and inspections
at our plant. We ensure that both prototypes
and serial-produced components uphold
