LightRules 2.7 is a web-based management system that gives
industrial facility managers unprecedented levels of control over their
lighting resources, while providing new levels of operational insight.
Wirelessly integrated with the Digital Lumens Intelligent Light
Engines (ILEs), LightRules lets facility staff manage lighting system
settings — all without requiring a lift to access hard-to-reach fixtures.

Control enables 'master' lights to trigger the behavior of other

The most important requirement for any industrial lighting is
delivering illumination levels that match a facility’s needs. But, true
energy efficiency requires integrated control and management
of lighting assets, including defining exactly what any given light
does — brightness levels when on, dimming levels, and specifying
how long a light stays on — at a given time on a given day. Because
every decision about lighting behavior makes a material impact on
lighting energy use.
LightRules gives facility staff the ability to make and modify those
choices — per fixture or on any group of fixtures — in order to
maximize energy efficiency. All without ever getting on a scissor
lift to push buttons, re-set DIP switches, or run low-voltage wiring.

THE LIGHTRULES DASHBOARD
The LightRules dashboard gives facility managers access to the full
suite of LightRules features, including lighting controls, reporting,
configuration options, and administrative settings:
• Reporting — LightRules reports include interactive facility
mapping for a graphical view of Intelligent Lighting System
energy usage, energy costs, daylight harvesting usage, ambient
temperature readings, and occupancy patterns. LightRules also
offers a range of chart templates, or create custom formats to
suit your needs. You can also export the data for analysis, in other
systems. 'What-if ' analysis enables facility managers to evaluate
the impact of different lighting choices on their overall energy use.
• Configuration & Calendaring Tools — LightRules lets users
manage scheduling, fixture settings, room setup, and more for
optimizing the Intelligent Lighting System. Diagnostic tools simplify
troubleshooting during installation.
• Manual Control — The manual control feature enables
real-time override for a group of fixtures. This feature
accommodates one-time events like unexpected facility
maintenance and demand-response calls.
